Limewire is someone you find in a dumpster. There she is, nestled behind a stuffer shack, devouring junk food with an insatiable appetite. She never sits still, she's always moving and talking thirty miles an hour. It makes her quick on her feet but she really struggles with details and remembering the tiny things. But once she gets focused, she gets really focused.
"Limewire" wasn't her first pick. She tried to have her name be "Livewire" for her impulsive and chaotic behavior. But thanks to her green hair and tendency to always have music playing, her street name was quickly changed to Limewire instead.
Limewire has had a really rough life. She's always been on her own and had to fight to survive. Her cheerful demeanor is really just a facade and how she copes with the brutal reality that she's forced to live in.
The most noteworthy period of her life was her time with Museum. He was a mercenary that found Limewire when she was a teen and was impressed by her skills at such a young age. He took her in as a member of his team. Unfortunately, he was also terribly cruel to her. His constant abuse of Limewire is what has lead her to develop a coping mechanism where she quite literally shuts her eyes off and enters a dissociative state, her 'happy place'. Whenever put into "high stress" situations, this coping mechanism will trigger involuntarily. This response would trigger involuntarily, particularly in situations where someone expressed physical or sexual interest in her, leading to a cycle of repeated trauma that she could not escape.
She escaped Museum's abuse, not by her own decision to leave since she had long deluded herself into believing that Museum and his crew, who all played a part in her suffering, were her 'friends'. It only stopped because Museum's girlfriend walked in on them and infuriated and horrified, kicked Limewire out.
To this day, she doesn't seem to understand that what happened to her was wrong. Instead, she misses her friends and wonders what she did wrong.
